Schirmmutze da Generale Heer EREL “privat”

Spettacolare berretto a visiera “schirmmutze” da Generale della Wehrmacht prodotto dalla prestigiosa ditta “EREL” di Berlino. Il berretto è quello destinato agli ufficiali generali dell’esercito (Heer) nel periodo pre-1943, ovvero con aquila e coccarda ancora in argento ma gli altri attributi in oro. Il berretto, di elevatissima qualità, fornito della tipica coccarda ventilata e concepito per l’acquisto privato, è marcato sul diamante interno “eReL Berlin Sonderklasse – Privat”, mentre sulla fascia tergisudore è riportato lo stampo “EREL Stirnschutz”. Sul medesimo punto sono presenti i bottoncini con le iniziali del proprietario “G.V.D.”, combinazione riconducibile con ogni probabilità al Generalmajor Gustav von Detten. Berretto con evidenti segni d’utilizzo ma ancora in ottime condizioni, rara occasione di aggiungere alla collezione un berretto da Generale di produzione EREL!

Spectacular “Schirmmütze” visor cap for a Wehrmacht General, manufactured by the prestigious firm EREL of Berlin. This cap is the type issued to General officers of the Army (Heer) in the pre-1943 period, featuring the eagle and cockade still in silver, while the other insignia are in gold. Of very high quality, equipped with the typical ventilated cockade and made for private purchase, the cap bears on the inner diamond the marking “eReL Berlin Sonderklasse – Privat”, while the sweatband is stamped “EREL Stirnschutz.” On the same area are small buttons with the owner’s initials “G.V.D.”, a combination most likely referring to Generalmajor Gustav von Detten. The cap shows clear signs of use but remains in excellent overall condition—a rare opportunity to add to any collection an EREL-made General’s visor cap!
