moretto Risorgimentale Bersaglieri 1870

Straordinario ed antico moretto mod. 1861 da ufficiale del 5° Reggimento Bersaglieri, tra le prime versioni istituite di questo caratteristico copricapo. Il moretto, confezionato dalla ditta “Giacomo Cesati e Figli” di Milano, ha le tipiche caratteristiche delle produzioni Risorgimentali (piume verdi; foggia alta; fregio; interno e materiali, ecc.) ed è databile agli anni ‘60 dell’800. È quindi del tutto plausibile che il proprietario abbia assistito in prima persona alla famosa “Presa di Porta Pia” del 20 settembre 1870. Pezzo di elevata importanza storico-collezionistica, complessivamente in buone condizioni tenendone presente l’antichità.

Extraordinary and ancient moretto mod. 1861 as an officer of the 5th Bersaglieri Regiment, among the first versions of this characteristic headgear created. The moretto, made by the “Giacomo Cesati e Figli” company of Milan, has the typical characteristics of Risorgimento productions (green feathers; high shape; frieze; liner and materials, etc.) and can be dated to the 1860s. It is therefore entirely plausible that the owner witnessed firsthand the famous “Taking of Porta Pia” of 20 September 1870. A piece of high historical and collectible importance, overall in good condition keeping in mind its antiquity.
