Elmetto monoscudo Heer transizionale M18 (ET64) nominativo

Bell’esemplare di elmetto “transizionale” della Wehrmacht, costituito da un guscio di M18 della Prima guerra mondiale ricondizionato durante la seconda, con l’applicazione di una decal Heer e di soggolo ed interno M31. Il guscio è marcato “ET64” (produttore Eisenhüttenwerk Thale / Harz; taglia 64) e ha il numero di lotto “rolling mill” nella parte interna della cupola. Dentro l’interno in cuoio c’è scritto il nome del soldato che lo possedeva e il numero di taglia 56.

Nice example of a “transitional” Wehrmacht helmet, made up of an M18 shell from the First World War reissued during the Second World War, with the application of a Heer decal and an M31 liner and chinstrap. The shell is marked “ET64” (manufacturer Eisenhüttenwerk Thale / Harz; size 64) and has the batch number “rolling mill” on the inside of the dome. Inside the leather liner is written the name of the soldier who owned it and the size number 56.
