Elmetto M40 (Q64) monodecal Heer nominativo KM

Elmetto tedesco modello 1940 (Stahlhelm M40) con decal dell’esercito (Heer) sul fianco sinistro. All’interno sono presenti le marcature “Q64” (produttore Quist, taglia 64) e il numero di lotto (373). La cosa particolarmente interessante è che l’elmetto, nato appunto per l’esercito, è stato in realtà utilizzato da un marinaio della Kriegsmarine, come indica il nominativo scritto sull’interno. L’elmetto presenta segni d’uso, tuttavia si tratta di un esemplare completo e ancora in buone condizioni.

A particularly interesting aspect is that, although originally produced for the army, the helmet was actually used by a Kriegsmarine sailor, as indicated by the name written inside. The helmet shows signs of use; however, it is a complete example and still in good condition.
