Elmetto M16 Tedesco mimetico WWI (ET66)

Iconico elmetto modello 1916 (Stahlhelm M16) dell’esercito imperiale tedesco durante la Prima guerra mondiale. L’elmetto è marcato “ET 66” (produttore Eisenhuttenwerke Tahle, taglia 66) e porta il liner di tipo M17, con cerchione in metallo. All’esterno l’elmetto porta il tipico mimetismo tedesco adottato alla fine della Grande Guerra, basato su uno schema a tre colori separati da spesse linee nere. L’elmo presenta i normali segni del tempo e all’esterno è rivestito da una bella patina che ha opacizzato un pò i colori. Bell’esempio di elmo M16/17 mimetico originale, i quali stanno diventando sempre più difficili da vedere.

Iconic Model 1916 helmet (Stahlhelm M16) of the Imperial German Army during the First World War. The helmet is marked “ET 66” (manufacturer Eisenhüttenwerke Thale, size 66) and fitted with an M17-type liner featuring a metal band. On the outside, the helmet displays the typical German camouflage pattern adopted at the end of the Great War, consisting of three colors separated by thick black lines. The helmet shows normal signs of age, and the exterior has developed an attractive patina that has slightly dulled the colors. A fine example of an original camouflaged M16/17 helmet—items that are becoming increasingly hard to find.
