Bustina DAK Panzer

Rara bustina da campo in versione tropicale per le unità Panzer del Deutsche Afrikakorps (DAK).  La bustina, confezionata in panno kaki coloniale, porta l’aquila e la coccarda nazionale in pertinente versione tropicale BeVo; l’interno è in tessuto rosso tipicamente usato per i copricapi DAK e riporta i timbri di produzione della ditta “Hans Brandt Mützenfabrik” e il numero di taglia “55”. Il gallone a “V” rovesciata in rosa era il tratto distintivo delle unità corazzate (Panzertruppe). Bustina originale e in ottimo stato di conservazione.

Rare tropical overseas cap for the Panzer units of the Deutsche Afrikakorps (DAK).  The cap, made of colonial khaki cloth, bears the eagle and the national cockade in the relevant tropical BeVo version; the liner is made of the red fabric typically used for DAK headgear and bears the production stamps with maker (Hans Brandt Mützenfabrik) and size (55). The pink inverted ‘V’ chevron is the specific insigna of the armoured units (Panzertruppe). Absolutely original cap and in excellent condition.
