Arazzetto Borbonico XVIII secolo
Piccolo arazzo databile alla seconda metà del ‘700 pertinente al Regno delle Due Sicilie. La raffigurazione a consiste nell’aquila reale di Palermo che tiene tra le ali un tondo a tema religioso (presumibilmente i patroni del Regno, San Francesco di Paola e la Madonna del Pozzo) e tra gli artigli il fregio araldico dei Borbone. Misure circa 60x50cm, pezzo molto affascinante ed evocativo.
Small tapestry dating back to the second half of the 18th century, belonging to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. Depiction a consists of the royal eagle of Palermo holding a religious-themed (presumably the patrons of the Kingdom, San Francesco di Paola and the Madonna del Pozzo) roundel between its wings and the heraldic frieze of the Bourbons in its talons. Measurements approximately 60x50cm, very charming and evocative piece.
