Luftwaffe “Hermann Meyer” tropical cap 1942

A very nice Luftwaffe tropical peaked cap of the so-called “Hermann Meyer” model, complete with BeVo insignia of a specific type for this headgear. The red lining is marked with the size numbers “57/67” and the year of production “1942”. The cap itself is in good condition but a button and the chinstrap are missing, defects that are however tolerable given the extreme rarity of the piece.

Bellissimo berretto tropicale a visiera della Luftwaffe di modello cosiddetto “Hermann Meyer”, completo di fregi in BeVo di tipo specifico per questo copricapo. L’interno rosso è marcato con i numeri di taglia “57/67” e con l’anno di produzione “1942”. Il copricapo in sé è in buone condizioni ma un bottone ed il soggolo sono mancanti, difetti comunque tollerabili data l’estrema rarità del pezzo.
